INTEREST ONLY

Interest only mortgages are particularly attractive to people purchasing property to rent out. By keeping the mortgage payment as low as possible the rental income produces a surplus of cash which can be used to cushion the impact of the occasional time when the property is between tenants. When the property is eventually sold, the borrower benefits from the growth in the properties value over the years. (Subject to capital gains tax)

Please remember it is your responsibility to ensure that a suitable investment product is in place to repay the Interest Only portion of your mortgage loan at the end of the term or have suitable funds available, otherwise your home will be at risk. I recommend that you seek investment advice for this.
